Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information you provide (name, email, phone, business name) via our contact form or Calendly booking
  • Financial and accounting data shared with us as part of our bookkeeping services
  • Usage data collected automatically via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, time on site, device type, general location)
  • Cookie data from Google Analytics and Google Ads for conversion tracking, where applicable

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide bookkeeping and financial services
  • To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations
  • To send service-related communications (never marketing without consent)
  • To improve our website using anonymized analytics data
  • To measure advertising performance via Google Ads conversion tracking

4. Cookies & Analytics

For visitors located in the United States outside California, Colorado, and Connecticut, we run Google Analytics in cookieless mode and send redacted, cookieless conversion measurement to Google Ads. No tracking cookies are set on your device; analytics collects only aggregated, anonymized usage signals and Google Ads receives only redacted conversion pings used for modeled attribution. No advertising or marketing cookies are set without your consent.

For all other visitors — including the EU, UK, Switzerland, and the gated US states above — we do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Microsoft Clarity until you accept cookies via our consent banner. If you decline or do not respond, no analytics, advertising, or session-recording cookies are placed on your device.

When you accept cookies, our site uses cookies for Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity. These cookies collect anonymized data about how visitors use our site. You can disable cookies at any time in your browser settings or by clearing your consent preference. We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites for advertising purposes beyond conversion measurement.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party tools that may process your data:

  • Google Analytics 4 (website analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Ads (advertising) — opt out at adssettings.google.com
  • Microsoft Clarity (session recording and heatmaps) — privacy.microsoft.com
  • Sentry (error tracking) — sentry.io/privacy
  • Nickel (invoicing, payments) — nickel.com/privacy
  • OpenSign (electronic signatures) — opensign.com/privacy
  • Calendly (appointment scheduling) — calendly.com/privacy

6. Data Security

Client financial data is handled with care and confidentiality. We follow industry-standard security practices and access controls, and we don't sell, rent, or share your personal or financial information with third parties except as needed to deliver our services or comply with the law.

7. Data Retention

We retain client records for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with IRS recordkeeping requirements. Contact inquiries from non-clients are deleted after 12 months.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, contact us by email or phone (see contact section below). For California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR), additional rights may apply.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
