What Happens After You Sign
Six straightforward steps — most of which we handle for you.
Service Agreement
After your consultation, we'll send your service agreement via OpenSign for you to review and sign electronically. Once signed, we're officially your bookkeeper.
Accounting Software Access
Share accountant access to your accounting software so we can review your chart of accounts and current books. If you don't have accounting software set up yet, we'll help you choose the right platform during onboarding.
Gusto Payroll Access
If you're on a plan that includes payroll oversight, add us as bookkeeper in Gusto so payroll flows correctly into your accounting software. If you're not on Gusto yet, we'll help you get set up.
Payroll plans onlyBILL.com for Vendor Payments
For bill pay clients, we use BILL.com to manage vendor payments, track due dates, and handle AP workflows. The subscription is billed directly to you — you own the account fully. It also requests W-9 and 1099 information from your vendors automatically, so you're not chasing paperwork from dozens of vendors at year-end. The BILL.com subscription and any transaction fees are billed directly to you.

We'll get you set up on your secure client portal where we'll share documents, monthly financial reports, and communicate throughout the month. Everything in one place, accessible anytime — included with every plan at no extra cost.
For complex expense needsYour First Monthly Close
We handle your first full monthly close and deliver your financial statements within 15 days. From that point forward, you'll receive your reports on the same schedule every month — no chasing, no reminders needed.
